Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic disorder that affects 2% of the U.S. population. It usually appears as thick, red or white flaky patches. It most often appears on the elbows, knees, trunk, and/or scalp though it can appear anywhere on the body. There are several different types of psoriasis, which a doctor will diagnose in order to prescribe treatment. Moderate to severe psoriasis can be associated with systemic diseases including arthritis, diabetes, and coronary artery disease. Eczema

Eczema can describe a variety of itchy, red, and scaly rashes that can show up on any part of the body. Eczema is not contagious, and can range from minor to severe.
